Within 5 years, the electricity grid should prove to be more stable in São Tomé and Principe. The African Development Bank (AfDB) group has just given a boost to the Energy Transition and Institutional Support Program (Etisp) launched in January 2020 in the country. Thanks to funding worth 12.46 million euros, or more than 303 million Santomean Dobras. This considerable support will cover the bulk of the program, the costs of which actually amount to around 13 million euros (nearly 317 million São Tomé dobras). The rest of the funding, ie over 550,000 euros (13.43 million Santomean Dobras) will be completed by the government of this Central African country.
